New Thermal Dynamics® 1Tourch(TM) Introduces Universal Plasma Torch Technology
St. Louis-August 13, 2002-The new 1Torch(TM) from Thermal Dynamics® introduces a revolutionary new technology that works with almost any plasma cutting system. The patent-pending 1Torch plasma torch works equally well with high frequency, blow apart or touch start plasma systems from any major manufacturer of plasma cutting equipment.
1Torch allows end users to standardize torches and consumable parts on a variety of manufacturers' systems, thus reducing inventory requirements and corresponding expenses associated with operating multiple systems. Thermal Dynamics incorporated the latest torch technology in 1Torch's innovative design. The result is a torch that provides the best visibility of any torch available for both standoff and drag cutting. The 1Torch plasma torch is rated superior for beveling with greater pierce capability and easier straight-line cutting. A new ergonomic torch handle provides a sure grip for better operator comfort and ease of use resulting in less operator fatigue. The 1Torch plasma torch, utilizing a patent-pending ATC (Advanced Torch Connector) makes it simple and quick to connect or disconnect the
torch with less than one thread-turn. For added safety and a sure connection every time, the ATC torch connector is designed with sequential interface connections.

Lead extensions for torches with the ATC connector are available and provide additional flexibility.
