Big On Precision, Narrow-Bodied: Lyndex's New LSK Toolholding System
Mundelein, IL (August 21, 2002) - Lyndex's new narrow-bodied LSK Toolholding System accesses tight spaces and hard to reach areas with ease and drills, taps, reams, and mills with precision.
The LSK collet's use of a smaller taper angle (8 degrees included) results in improved concentricity and more powerful gripping. Run-out accuracy is held to less than 3 microns at 4
times the diameter of the cutting tool shank, producing better surface finishes and longer tool life.
Tools up to 1" in diameter can be accommodated with this superior, affordably priced collet system. The LSK coolant delivery systems allow for coolant through the tool as well as along the tool shank.
LSK Toolholders are also available with Lyndex's patented HSBalance(TM) balanceable system. HSBalance(TM) Toolholders come pre-balanced and can be easily further balanced to fine-tune cutting tool / toolholder assemblies to the tightest specifications.
