NKK Switches Announces Unique Portfolio of High Capacity Toggle and Rocker Switches
Scottsdale, Ariz. (January 8, 2004) - Continuing its dedication to top-notch switch manufacturing, NKK Switches presents a unique product portfolio of high capacity, standard size, toggle and rocker actuated devices. NKK Switches' high capacity switches offer an extensive selection , sure to satisfy the most demanding of applications.
The S800 series and S800D series of high capacity toggle actuated devices are available in several circuit configurations, including double pole and three pole models, both available in two or three positions. All circuits are maintained and have a dielectric strength of 2,000V AC minimum for one minute.
The S800 series has a resistive load rating of 30A @ 125V AC and 250V AC. The DC rating is 30A @ 30V DC and 1A @ 125V DC. The series features an inductive load rating of 30A @ 125V AC PF 0.6 and 15A @ 250V AC PF 0.6. The standard length of the bat toggle is 22mm, and the electrical life is 25,000 operations minimum.
The S800D series has a distinctive flatted lever of phenolic resin over brass with chrome plating, and the actuator length is 27mm. Electrical resistive capacity ratings include 30A @ 30V DC, 30A @ 48V DC, 15A @ 125V DC and 7.5A @ 250V DC. In addition, these models boast an inductive capacity rating of 15A 24VDC, 10A @ 48V DC, 6A @ 125V DC and 3A @ 250V DC. Electrical life is 10,000 operations minimum.
The S700 series device is offered in a double pole, double throw configuration. It features a resistive load rating of 50A @ 125V AC, 30A @ 250V AC, 50A @ 30V DC and in addition, an inductive load of 25A @ 125V AC PF 0.6. The toggle is supplied standard with a black phenolic resin cap. The electrical life is 25,000 operations minimum.
All S800 and S700 switches have screw lug terminations, and the bushings are 12mm. Mechanical life for all devices is 50,000 operations minimum. Insulation resistance is 1,000 megohms minimum @ 500V DC. They are UL Recognized and CSA Certified.
NKK Switches' SW3800 series and SW3800D series of high capacity rocker actuated devices are available in double pole or three pole models, with single throw or double throw circuits. SW3800 devices have resistive load ratings of 30A @ 125V AC, 30A @ 250V AC and 30A @ 30V DC. The inductive capacity is 30A @125V AC and 250V AC.
The SW3800D series have a resistive rating of 30A @ 30V DC and 15A @ 125V DC. All models feature a white rocker actuator manufactured of urea resin. Mounting frames are steel with chrome plating over zinc plating. Mechanical life is 50,000 operations minimum and electrical life is 25,000 operations minimum. Terminations are screw lug. Both the SW3800 and SW3800D series are UL Recognized and CSA Certified.
