Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has announced its TOC-VC Series Total Organic Carbon analyzers can now be ordered with a built-in carrier gas purifier. The purifying system takes "house air" and reduces or eliminates carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and
total hydrocarbons to enable the air to be used as the carrier gas for TOC analysis. The Gas Purifying Kit eliminates the need for expensive and dangerous gas cylinders.
