TimeSpring's TimeData Continuous Data Protection Wins 5-Star Rating from the SQL Server Worldwide User Group

SQL Server Worldwide User Group gives TimeSpring's continuous data protection software a 5-Star rating after a hands-on test.

Newport Beach, Calif. November 13, 2006 -- TimeSpring® Software Corp. announced that its continuous data protection software, TimeData®, has received an overall 5-Star rating from the SQL Server Worldwide User Group (SSWUG.org). The TimeData CDP software was tested by Mr. Stephen Wynkoop, Microsoft SQL Server MVP and SSWUG.org Founder, and rated for Installation, Usage, Support and Real World Usefulness. A copy of the review is available at http://www.timespring.net/resources.

TimeSpring's TimeData CDP software allows users to rapidly recover any or all lost, corrupt or deleted documents. Unlike other backup systems TimeData continuously captures all data as it changes in real-time to an on- or offsite repository. TimeData is a true continuous data protection system, not a snapshot system that leaves users vulnerable to data loss or inconsistent recovery. With TimeData there are no protection gaps, no scheduling requirements, no backup related system slowdowns and no backup windows for the administrator to manage. Additionally, TimeData costs about the same or less than inferior pseudo-CDP products. TimeSpring's TimeData CDP software is designed for Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, New Technology File System (NTFS) and Windows SharePoint Services.

Visitors to the Professional Association for SQL Server 2006 PASS Community Summit in Seattle, Washington, can attend a presentation by TimeSpring on November 15 at 12:45 pm or visit TimeSpring at booth 520.
