Favorite time and billing application of service-based professionals continues to improve its ease of use and billing process

Atlanta, Ga - June 26, 2007 - Sage Software announced today the availability of Timeslips by Sage 2008. The new release of this market-leading time and billing application offers several new and improved features throughout the billing and reporting process to help service-based businesses more efficiently manage every aspect of the time and billing cycle.

While Timeslips is widely used by lawyers and accountants, thousands of professional services firms in many industries also rely on Timeslips to help them successfully track and bill for their services and time. It is ideal for interior and graphic designers, architects, engineers, consultants, and other professional services firms that need to track and bill for the services they provide.

"Timeslips by Sage 2008 continues its strong legacy as one of the leading time and billing applications for businesses that range from independent consultants up to mid-sized firms across many industries," said Sam Hunter, Sage Software senior vice president and general manager for the Value Business Unit. "We've worked with our customers through our Sage Software Customer Connected Design Center to make Timeslips even more intuitive with easier access to the tasks and data they need for day-to-day management."

Based upon customer feedback requesting more reporting and user-control functionality, Timeslips by Sage 2008 now offers:

o New capabilities for determining when clients should be billed based on billing criteria set up by the user. For example, Timeslips can be set up to create bills for clients who have not been billed in 30 days, when they hit an established billing limit, or other user-defined billing scenarios.

o New user-defined accounts receivable (A/R) and funds reports that allow businesses to create customized summary and itemized reports within Timeslips. The ability to create A/R or funds reports in Timeslips eliminates the need to export data into Microsoft® Excel and encourages a more efficient collection process.

Additionally, the Billing Assistant, which provides centralized control over the billing process in Timeslips, offers a number of significant improvements such as:

o Quick and easy editing of bills directly within the bill review process in Timeslips. Small businesses can remove entire bills or individual slips from printing while previewing them, or edit bills directly from the preview dialog to ensure that clients are accurately billed in a timely manner.

o The ability to approve, clear or place bills in proof, revision or audit stages from one area. By centralizing these tasks into one area, small businesses save time and will experience greater control over the billing process.

A market leader since 1985 with service-based companies, Timeslips continues to provide growing small businesses with the comprehensive time tracking and billing capabilities upon which these organizations rely, in an easy to use interface.
