Time Warner Cable Dials up Business Class Phone in North Texas

Telephone Product Rounds Out Suite of Business Communications Services

Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC), a leading provider of data, video and security solutions for businesses, is further enhancing its suite of services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in North Texas, with the launch of Business Class Phone. This business-grade digital telephony service includes a number of vital business features, including unlimited local and long distance calling in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico for a flat monthly fee and on one bill.

Business Class Phone service will be carried on TWCBC's robust and reliable nationwide, private network, serving more than 2 million residential voice customers throughout its U.S. footprint.

Since Time Warner Cable's August 2006 start in North Texas, the company has been working to enhance its fiber optic and cable distribution network -- spending over $100 million dollars to improve reliability there, according to the company. "Business Class Phone is a great addition to our suite of enhanced services designed to meet the growing needs of SMBs in North Texas," said Joe Morris, Vice President Time Warner Cable Business Services. "Our ability to seamlessly bundle Business Class Phone with other business communications services makes us a viable single-source option for all SMB in the Dallas area." Customers in phone-ready areas can receive a full portfolio of scalable, IT solutions including data, video products and fiber-based services, including Metro Ethernet solutions, dedicated Internet access, teleworker and branch office solutions and managed security and storage.

In addition to unlimited local and long distance calling, Business Class Phone includes important business-rich features such as hunting, inbound and outbound call restrictions, three-way call transfer and others in its basic package. Business Class Phone can be combined, or "bundled," with a business customer's existing data, video and security services to provide a discounted, cost-effective single source and single invoice for all business communications needs.

Businesses switching to Business Class Phone are able to retain their current phone numbers and directory listing at no extra charge. Also, Business Class Phone meets all federally-mandated requirements by being E-911 compliant for emergency services.

TWCBC business customers receive dedicated customer service and technical support through teams of locally based customer service representatives and experienced field technicians.
