Radical Tilt for assembly-line part presentation is usually considered approximately 85 degrees. These stands are used when two conditions exist:
a.) The part is loaded vertically into a container or rack, and
b.) The part slides out of the container horizontally rather being lifted out.
The Radical Tilt Stand is designed and constructed for heavy-duty usage. It pivots at the center of gravity using a pendulum design. A low-pressure pneumatic cylinder is used to perform the rotation which requires a minimum of 60 PSI. The Radical Tilt Stand is equipped with standard pilot line check valves and a speed control valve. Controls can be mounted on a stand for hand operation or on the floor for foot operation.
A forklift is typically used for loading and unloading the container or the Radical Tilt Stand can be interfaced with AGV's or Topper's roller conveyor-top carts.
