Pittsburgh, PA - TIGG Corporation was awarded two GSA Schedules: GS-07F-0495W Air & Water Filtration Systems/Units and GS-07F-0494W Above Ground Storage Tanks/Systems. Being awarded GSA contracts allows TIGG to sell directly to the US Government and affiliated agencies.
TIGG Corporation is entering the Federal Market selling a variety of their filtration vessels and systems filled with activated carbon for use in air and water purification. In addition to selling their standard products, TIGG will be selling steel tanks and pressure vessels.
Traditionally, TIGG designs and fabricates filtration systems to remove trace contaminants from air and water utilizing activated carbon and other media. TIGG manufactures their own tanks as adsorption vessels for these systems in their ASME code shop. Building on their manufacturing experience, TIGG now sells stand alone steel tanks and pressure vessels as a new business line.
TIGG recently acquired a new 155,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Heber Springs, AR giving them the capability to produce steel tanks and pressure vessels up to 14 ft in diameter. Using state of the art equipment, TIGG has the ability to custom design systems and tanks to meet a variety of specifications.
"We are happy to announce that we have been awarded two GSA Schedules and are officially able to sell directly to the government. We feel that this will create new opportunities for TIGG and is great way to utilize our new production facility," said Georgiana Riley, President of TIGG Corporation.
