Press Release Summary:
Suitable for flaw detection, Triton331(TM) offers standard measurement rate of 4,800/sec with 12,000 measurements/sec available as option. Unit can accurately measure hexagonal or other product shapes that incur oscillation as well as non-constant diameter products, such as corrugated tubing. Via TLAser400(TM) micrometer interface card, device links to PC running Total Vu(TM) software, which provides in-process tolerance checking, trending, SPC, feedback control, data logging, and recipes.
Original Press Release:
LaserLinc Introduces the Triton331 Laser Micrometer
Fairborn, Ohio -- LaserLinc, a leader in design and manufacturing of non-contact, laser and ultrasonic measurement systems, has released a new laser scan micrometer, the Triton331(TM).
The Triton331 has a 30mm measurement window, like LaserLinc's Triton330, but is much faster--12,000 measurements per second (4,000 per axis). Because of its speed, the Triton331 is exceptional at detecting flaws. The higher scan rate enables detection of shorter-length flaws and accurate measurement of hexagonal or other product shapes that incur oscillation, and measurement of non-constant diameter products, such as corrugated tubing.
The standard measurement rate is 4,800 per second, 12,000 as an option. The gauge is also well-suited for LaserLinc's new Lobex(TM) system for in-process lobing measurement on centerless ground products, including centerless ground wire.
Like all LaserLinc scanners, the Triton331 links--via the TLAser400(TM) micrometer interface card--to a PC running Total Vu(TM) software. Total Vu software is LaserLinc's sophisticated, yet operator-friendly, measurement/data processing package, which runs on any Windows-based PC, providing in-process tolerance checking, trending, SPC, feedback control, data logging, recipes, and other features.
LaserLinc micrometers are covered by a 4-year warranty on all parts and labor and lifetime support, which includes the option of remote desktop interface with our support staff to pinpoint and solve difficult problems.
Triton331 high-speed, three-axis laser micrometer.
