High Viscosity Threadlocker Replaces Lockwashers



BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Permabond introduces PERMABOND® HH120, a general purpose threadlocker and sealant, which replaces lockwashers and seals fasteners against water and chemicals, and is used when permanent assembly is required.

PERMABOND HH120 is easy to use and apply, obtaining a fixture strength in 15-20 minutes on active metals such as iron, steel, nickel and aluminum. HH120 can also be used on inactive or passive materials such as chrome finishes, stainless steel, or painted finishes, when used in conjunction with PERMABOND® ASC10 surface conditioner.

HH120 has a viscosity of 7000 cP, allowing for gap filling up to 10 mil. Its high viscosity allows for ease of use on coarse threaded fasteners, and is used for locking bolts, nuts and screws which require permanent assembly. HH120 has a locking strength of 250 - 350 in-lbs, and a retaining strength of >2000 psi.

HH120 meets MIL S-46163 Rev A, Type I, Grade L and MIL S-22473 Rev E Grade AVV. It is available in 50ml, 250ml, 1 liter, and 14 liter pails.
