Mack Corporation releases a product line of thin disc grippers in two and three finger configurations
Discs are grasped on the outside diameter or inside a hole to avoid contact with critical surfaces on the face of a disc.
Grippers operate on plant air and "pinch force" can be reduced with pressure regulation to handle fragile parts made from glass or plastic.
Drive mechanism is about the size of a small hand with contoured fingers to fit work pieces.
Basic units are described on data sheet 9264 and may be modified for specific applications.
