Wyse Launches New Powerful and Expandable Thin Computing Solutions

New Wyse G-Class Offers Users Enhanced Performance and Graphics Capabilities

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 23 -- Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the availability of its new G-Class -- the world's most powerful and expandable thin computers. The new Wyse G- Class thin computers give users all the performance and flexibility they need for graphics-intensive thin client deployments, making them ideal for financial services and educational training industries.

All new G-Class thin computers are equipped with standard dual-display support with the option to add more displays as requirements increase. With Wyse G-Class, users can easily expand to quad-display support through third- party display adapters from vendors such as Matrox, ATI and others. In this way the new Wyse G-Class thin computers deliver unprecedented power and flexibility, and can handle the most complex and demanding tasks.

"The new Wyse G-Class thin computers make multi-tasking and managing information dynamically easier," said Tarkan Maner, president of worldwide field operations, Wyse. "As more businesses deploy multi-display solutions to increase worker productivity, Wyse is leading the industry by offering customers a complete set of options and choices that reduce IT complexity and add to the bottom-line."

Wyse G-Class thin computers come with the following features:

o Built in dual-display support enabling customers to attach two displays simultaneously, without the need for additional adapters, making it ideal for video and data-intensive applications.
o Support for more than two displays when optional supported additional display adapters are used.
o Expansion options include a CD-ROM bay, hard-disk drive bay, and a PCI expansion slot. These options enable IT departments to configure, deploy, and use G-Class thin computers in a wider variety of ways, even in situations that would otherwise require a PC.
o Plug-and-play connectivity making it easy for users to install and connect right out of the box.
o Enhanced data security and integrity -- no data is stored on the thin computer, so data cannot be lost or stolen, and the unit has no value off the network.
o Integrated 10/100 Ethernet and optional wireless LAN connectivity allowing customers to securely connect to high-speed wired and wireless networks.
o Ships with Wyse Device Manager, which makes it easy to manage, update and even service the device from one central or several remote locations.

Another benefit to using Wyse G-Class thin computers is that all applications are fully managed in the data center, which make them inherently more secure from viruses and other malicious software attacks. In addition, the Wyse G90 model comes with Microsoft(R) Windows XP(TM) Embedded, giving users access to the most advanced web browser and media player capabilities in a thin computer.

Wyse G-Class thin computers are available on a limited basis immediately, with full volume in the first quarter of 2007.
