THERMOELECTRIC MODULE/HEATER CONTROLLER
Oven Industries' new Model 5C-195 Thermoelectric Module / Heater Controller is an unique AC input-variable DC output voltage controller for thermoelectric modules used for either heating or cooling applications. It will accept an input voltage of 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and incorporates and internal power supply that will provide an adjustable load circuit voltage of 3 to 16 VDC. The 2 ampere maximum output current limits range from a load resistance of 1.5 Ohm at 3 VDC to 32 Ohm at 16 VDC. An isolated RS232 communications port is provided for PC configuration for selecting either the heating or cooling mode for this controller.
The 3600 Hz, Pulse Width Modulated ouptut control provides for proportional control with automatic reset, plus a temperature adjustment and resolution of 0.1°C. Oven Industries' TS67 Series thermistor sensors permit control temperatures from 0° to 110° C. and also can be used for the alram sensor function. An internal monitor for an open or shorted sensor will automatically disable the output to the load circuit and protect your system from damaging voltages.
