(February 28, 2002) -Wieland Electric Inc. announces the availability of the KL16 Series Compact Terminal Strips for high-quality, cost-effective connections for junction box, panel, appliance or lighting applications. Only the KL16 Series offers a 5.4mm pitch spacing in a shrouded contact design with captive hardware.
The shrouded contacts consist of a polyamide 6.0 plastic insulating housing that covers termination points in order to protect assembly technicians from accidental shock. In addition, Wieland's terminal strip series offers captive hardware as a standard feature to prevent lost metal parts.
