WAGO Introduces New TOPJOB®S
Germantown, WI, October 2003 - WAGO Corporation is pleased to announce a Quantum Leap in spring pressure connection technology. The new TOPJOB®S series of DIN rail mounted terminal blocks utilizes the revolutionary CAGE CLAMP®S spring pressure connection technology. This innovative connection technology allows solid wire, tin-bonded wire or ferruled stranded wire to be connected by simply inserting the wire into the clamping mechanism (no tools required), as well as connecting all wire types via a simple screwdriver actuation - just like the original CAGE CLAMP®.

When compared to the alternatives currently available in the market place, the TOPJOB®S series with CAGE CLAMP®S technology offers up to a 30% reduction in size, up to 50% reduction in wiring time, as well as cost effective features such as dual jumper slots with push-in comb style jumpers and a unique center marking strip on a continuous reel. Additionally, this series offers a modular test plug accessory for easy troubleshooting, three marking positions per terminal block, and an enlarged wire opening to accept the maximum rate AWG with a ferrule.
The TOPJOB®S series is capable of terminating 28 to 4 AWG, and is rated at 600V and up to 87 amperes (UL/CUL pending). The series is available in 2, 3 and 4 conductor feed through or grounding terminal blocks and constructed of a flame resistant (UL94V-0) polyamide 6.6 insulating housing, copper alloy current bar and stainless steel clamping mechanism. The 28-12 AWG version is currently available from stock with the other wire sizes to follow.
