CINCINNATI, OH (June 26, 2002) - The new and improved Automatic Tensioning Screen Frame from ROTEX INC. provides continuous sealing, consistent tensioning and is even easier to use, requiring less time for screen, wire and seal changes.
The new frame is available with wire or perforated plate ball support for all new or existing ROTEX® Screeners.
With the newly designed frame, a simple, one-time adjustment of the patented roller and bumper system ensures proper location of the screen frame - even after repeated screen frame changes. No sieve jacks or additional adjustments are required, and no tools are needed to remove or re-install the screen frame.
Wire and seal changes are quick and easy because tension clips stay in place while changing the wire and new seals simply slide into place.
Sealing improvements have been made through the use of a continuous, one-piece seal and a grooved lip that holds the seal tightly against the frame. The wider, more compliant seal provides a tight seal between the surfaces and won't pull away from the frame during regular maintenance, providing improved sealing and longer seal life.
The durable new screen frame also ensures consistent screen tensioning even with frequent handling. Newly designed tension clips remain in place during maintenance and pull the screen clothing down evenly against the frame.
