New, Low-Cost Smart Transmitter Incorporates Hart® Protocol and Offers the Most Features in the Industry
FAIRFIELD, CT: A new Smart 2-Wire Temperature Transmitter - specifically designed to be the industry's most economical, full-featured unit - has been announced by S-PRODUCTS INC. The Mp82700H head-mount transmitter is small enough (1/7" dia. x 1"H) to fit standard (DIN B) small connection heads, yet offers more features than any other transmitter.
Features of the advanced Mp82700H include: industry-standard HART® (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) Protocol; Universal Input (13 T/Cs, 9 RTDs, Voltage, and Ohms); Total Isolation (500 VDC); Complete Linearization (0.1%, Selectable On/Off); Digital Filtering (Selectable 50/60 Hz.); High Accuracy (±0.1 % Set Scale); Selectable Upscale/Downscale Sensor Failure; Selectable 4-20 mA or 20-4 mA Output; RFI/EMI Immunity (DC to 1 GHz.); a 13-40 VDC Supply, Polarity-Protected; and a 5-Year Warranty against failure. The Mp82700H is available with either FM and KEMA Certification for Intrinsically Safe operation. An optional plug-in loop-powered LCD readout, a small, low-cost aluminum connection head with glass window, and rail-mounting units and adapters are also available.
Using industry-standard HART® protocol, the Mp82700H can be programmed, re-ranged, or monitored over the 4-20 mA wire pair from anywhere on the loop. It can also be programmed using any PC and S-Products' "Point 'N Click" software (downloadable from www.s-products.com).
