Spence Announces Type ET14 Pilot-Operated Temperature Regulator
Spence Engineering Company, Inc., Walden, New York, announces our Type EDT14 Pilot-Operated Temperature Regulator for use with batch processing equipment; water, fuel oil or chemical storage heaters; air heating equipment and heat exchangers.
The ET14 Temperature Regulator consist of a Spence Type E Main Valve and our T14 vapor tension temperature pilot. The E Main valve is available in cast iron or cast steel, in sizes 3/8 inch to 12 inches, for pressures to 600 psig at 750°F. The T14 Temperature Pilot is a thermostatically controlled, spring-operated unit that controls temperatures from 20°F to 500°F very accurately, opening and closing on only a few degrees change at the thermostat bulb. The T14 temperature pilot is available with a bronze thermostatic well as standard, for strorage tank applications, or a steel well for fuel oil service. The Spence ET14 Temperature Regulator is accurate enough for most process applications and, being self-operated, is not affected by power outages.
