Selco Products Introduces Miniature Temperature Probes Designed for Fast Response in Variety of Industries
ANAHEIM, Calif. - Aug. 9, 2004 - Selco Products has introduced the LSMN Mini Series of Temperature Probes designed to meet small space requirements in applications requiring fast and precise temperature sensing. A wide range of custom options allow virtually unlimited temperature sensing applications in industries ranging from life sciences to heavy industrial.
Featuring fast response accuracy to ±0.1°C and compatibility with YSI 400 and 700 temperature monitor instruments, these miniature probes are available in 0.035-inch diameter with a 0.250-inch length or slightly larger 0.055-inch diameter with a nominal 0.125 - 0.375-inch length. Performance characteristics include resistance values of 25°C at 2252 ohms (LSMN400 Series) and 25°C at 6K/30K ohms (LSMN 700 Series).
The LSMN Mini Temperature Probes feature an epoxy filled polyimide tube and include AWG 28 Kynar® Insulation or AWG 32 Poly/Nylon Insulation, depending on model. Interchangeable or point matched tolerances are available in ±0.10°C, ±0.20°C, ±0.25°C, ±0.5°C, ±1.00°C, ±1°%, ±2%, ±5%, and ±10%. Dissipation constants are 1.5 mW/°C in still air and 10 mW/°C in stirred oil. Other performance characteristics include capability for intermittent cycling at temperatures from -50°C to 150°C.
The LSMN Mini Series of Temperature Probes are available in a variety of lead materials and termination lengths and are priced from $0.41 to $1.41 each with delivery in 4 - 5 weeks.
