Telular Showcases New Fixed Cellular Products at CTIA Wireless 2006

New GSM/GPRS/EDGE and CDMA/1xRTT Fixed Cellular Products Support New ARPU-Enhancing Applications for Carriers

LAS VEGAS, April 5 / -- CTIA WIRELESS -- Telular Corporation (NASDAQ:WRLS) today announced the expansion of its market-leading portfolio of fixed cellular devices with new feature rich versions of its GSM and CDMA product lines. Telular's products enable wireless carriers around the world to provide telephone services to their customers using the convenience of the wireless network, in places where traditional wired landline service is inefficient or too costly to deploy.

"Our latest products have been designed specifically to assist carriers interested in increasing ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) by supporting applications beyond voice and text messaging," said Mike Boyle, president and chief executive officer of Telular Corporation.

The latest enhancements in Telular's GSM lineup include new products that can support Public Calling Office ("PCO") applications, display animated icons on a larger LCD window, play polyphonic downloadable ring tones and FM radio and can run EDGE (Enhanced Data for the GSM Evolution) which transmits packet data at speeds of up to 384kbits per second.

The latest enhancements in Telular's CDMA lineup includes an RJ-11 interface to support making calls over the traditional landline services helping customers save money when making non-cellular phone calls, and a BREW (Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) enabled unit to provide telemetric information in industrial applications using the 1xRTT packet data services.

"These new products are another step forward in providing value to our carrier customers and their end users. They enable the carriers to provide advanced services, which are a very big part of their business strategy," continued Boyle. "These new products will help differentiate our carrier customers from their competition and shows that Telular is committed to evolving wireless technology into revenue producing applications for our carrier customers and their end users," added Boyle.

Telular's full line of deskphones and terminals will be showcased at booth #2244 and at CTIA Wireless taking place April 5-7, 2006 in Las Vegas Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
