Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com Announces Release of New 30 Foot Extendable Light Tower
Larson Electronics has announced the addition of a telescoping light tower capable of elevating four included metal halide lights to height of up to thirty feet. Designed to provide easy deployment of high power lighting for worksites and events, this light tower allows operators to quickly and safely illuminate large scale areas with 400,000 lumens of light. Constructed of square steel tubing and including a predrilled mounting base, these light towers can be mounted to trailers and flatbeds for easy transport and deployment.
Magnalight's LM-30-3S-4X1000W 4,000 watt 30 foot extendable light tower produces 400,000 lumens and is ideal for illumination large scale work sites as well as outdoor events and emergency scenes. Equipped with four, wet area rated, 1,000 watt metal halide light fixtures, this tower can be extended to 30 feet for maximum area coverage and lowered to 12 feet and folded over for easy transport. This light tower is raised from the folded position using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch, then extended to it full 30 foot height via a second 1,000 lbs winch, and can be quickly and easily deployed or stowed by one person. These light towers are constructed of heavy gauge square steel tubing for high strength and the four metal halide lamps are secured to a 24 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick mounting plate on the end of the boom for stable positioning. A 1/2 inch thick mounting base-plate that has been predrilled for four ¾ inch bolts provides for secure installation on trailers and similar stable platforms. These units are prewired and come with the lights connected to a ballast box mounted to the lower end of the light tower for easy connection to power sources. Each metal halide lamp is 19 inches in diameter and produces 100,000 lumens while consuming 1,000 watts for a combined total of 4,000 watts and 400,000 lumens. These lamps are wet area rated and come with aluminum housings and tempered glass lenses for bulb protection.
