New T8 Fluorescent High Bay Fixtures from TCP Offer Improved Energy Efficiency, Reduced Costs Over Metal Halide Systems
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 31 - April 2, 2004) - The new line of T8 fluorescent high bay fixtures from Technical Consumer Products, Inc. (TCP) provide superior light quality compared to HID metal halide lighting systems in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. The luminaries offer maximum photometric efficacy, more uniform light distribution and improved color rendering index (CRI).
TCP's line of high bay fixtures' housings, constructed of heavy-duty, 20-gauge steel, feature a purpose-designed reflector for increased and focused light in work areas. The combination of TCP's fixtures and T8 fluorescent lamps increase light levels by 40% and reduce energy costs by 49% when compared to similar metal halide fixtures.
