New Low Cost Scaleable Synchro To BDC Converters

A series of low cost 3 or 4 decade, Synchro to BCD Converter Modules with complete choice of scale factor has been introduced by Computer Conversions Corporation.

The new modules are 2.6" x 3.1 " x .82"H and are designed to be mounted on PC boards. They convert Synchro or Resolver Inputs of 11.8 or 90v, 400Hz into 3 or 4 decade BCD data representing angle with an accuracy of ±6 or ±30 minutes of arc.

Unipolar and Bipolar (±180°) models are standard.

The converters have isolated reference and Synchro Inputs and an optional zero offset adjustment. The digital outputs are DTL/TTL compatible and bidirectional input data is accepted.

Part No. SBC40 requires a 26V or 115V, 400Hz AC reference input and +15v DC @ 40ma, and +5V DC @ 600ma max. Operating temperature ranges are 0°C to +70°C and -55°C to +85°C.

Prices in reasonable production quantities are less than $375.00 each. Delivery is 4 weeks after receipt of order.
