New Low Cost Synchro/Linear DC Converter
A series of low cost infinite resolution Synchro/Linear DC converter modules with accuracy ±6 minutes of arc have been introduced by Computer Conversions Corporation.
The new modules are 2.6" x 3.1" x .82"H and are designed to be mounted on printed circuit boards. They convert Synchro or Resolver inputs of 11.8 or 90V. 400Hz or 90V 60Hz, into ±10V DC outputs representing ±180 of input angle. Output scaling of 0-360 for 0-10V is also available.
The converters have isolated reference and Synchro inputs and are insensitive to input amplitude variations. The output is short circuit protected.
Part #SLD214 requires a 26V or 115V, 400Hz AC reference input, 11.9 or 90V Synchro or Resolver input and +15V DC at 60 milliamps and -15V DC at 90 milliamps. Operating temperature ranges are 0 to 70°C and -55°C to +85°C.
