V-Infinity has added a new 5W series to its FSK line of low cost encapsulated switching power supplies. The FSK-S5 is designed for a wide range of applications where design space is limited and RoHS compliance is required. These compact, encapsulated units measure 2 x 1 x 0.6 inches. They accept a universal input voltage (85 to 264 V ac or 110 to 340 V dc), offer efficiencies up to 77% in the 24V model, and are rated for operation at 100% load from 0 to 50 °C ambient.
The FSK-S5 series delivers output voltages ranging from 3.3 V to 24 V among 5 separate single output models. Features include RoHS compliance, an input-to-output isolation of 3,000 Vac, short circuit, over voltage, over current, and over temperature protections. Safety approvals include UL/cUL/TUV/CE/CB.
