Setting a new standard in size and power density, ASTRODYNE announces the OFM 40/60 product line of ultraminiature open frame modular switching power supplies that provide output power of 40 to 60 Watts. All models accept universal input from 85-265VAC and 18 models are available that provide single outputs of 3.3 to 48VDC. This new series provides not only a small mechanical footprint with power densities greater then 6W/In3, but also offers the most economical 40W and 60W power solution available. The OFM 40/60 series features an integral power-good LED indicator and output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and internal input filtering. The OFM 40/60 Series is fully approved to EN60950 / UL1950 safety specifications. Dimensions are as small as 2"W X 4"L X 1.2"H and all models feature Molex-style I/O connectors.
