150 W 1U Power Supply is Compact
V-Infinity introduces a family of 150 watt 1U height switching power supplies that come in a compact 3.2" x 5" package. The units are designed for a range of information technology, datacom, wireless, and industrial applications. Exact dimensions of the VF-S150 series measure 3.2 x 5 x 1.5 inches in the u-frame version and 3.2 x 5 x 2 inches in the metal-enclosed w/fan version. All models feature power factor correction (EN61000-3-2 class A), with a maximum power output of 150 watts with 16 C.F.M. of forced air cooling - 6.25 watts per cubic inch. The power supplies are able to provide 600W of peak power for up to 500 ms, enabling the user to design in a smaller power supply than would otherwise be necessary in certain situations.
Voltage outputs range from 3.3-48.0 Vdc on 6 different single-output models. The units produce full output power from 0 to 50°C. Power de-rates linearly from 50 to 70°C, at which point the VF-S150 still produces 50% output at 70°C. Control and protection features include remote on/off, over voltage, over current, over temperature, and short circuit protections. Safety approvals include UL/cUL/TUV/CE/CB. OEM pricing starts at $50 per unit.
