A line of fully integrated high voltage DC power supplies that replace inductrols and large 60 Hz transformer rectifiers with a solid-state unit is available from Diversified Technologies, Inc. of Bedford, Massachusetts.
HVPS Switching Mode Power Supplies are fully integrated high voltage power supplies that employ solid-state switching to provide 1 to 200 kV adjustable output, with adjustable output current limits to maximum power. Featuring high power density, these compact units replace inductrols and large 60 Hz transformer rectifiers with a solid-state unit that fits into a single rack.
Eliminating the need to connect smaller power supplies in parallel, HVPS Switching Mode Power Supplies provide full over-voltage and over-current protection up to +30% or preset ±0.1% max. ripple. Using regular tap water for cooling, the largest unit measures only 30" x 36" x 71". Applications include radar, accelerators, X-ray, and plasma related processes.
