Honeywell Introduces FF Series Contactless Safety Switches

Technology Includes Coded Actuator Solution for Easy Implementation

MINNEAPOLIS, June 11, 2007 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today introduced its FF Series Contactless Safety Switches, designed to ensure machine safety in environments where contamination or misalignment may be an issue.

FF Series Contactless Safety Switches use magnetic actuators to detect if a door or panel has been opened or removed in a piece of machinery. When the switch detects this condition, the machine's action is stopped to ensure operational safety.

This solution is flexible and less prone to misalignment than some standard contact safety switches. The switches include a simple-to-implement coded actuator solution.

Potential applications may include pick-and-place packaging or assembly equipment, semicon equipment, plastic molding equipment, woodworking machinery, textile machinery and printing machinery.
