Solid State Switch Modules Features Fully Integrated Controls
A new line of medium-current, solid-state high voltage switch modules and controls that are easy to install and eliminate the need for crowbars is being introduced by Diversified Technologies, Inc. of Bedford, Massachusetts.
DTI Medium-Current PowerMod(TM) Solid-State switch modules feature fully integrated controls, including a gate drive, power, overcurrent protection, pulse width frequency error checking, and fault handling. Stackable from 11 KV to 66 KV, these modules provide >99% switching efficiency, <500 ns switching times, pulse frequencies up to 100 KHz, depending upon load, and
adjustable pulse widths from submicroseconds to DC, on a pulse-to-pulse basis.
Capable of being driven by fiberoptic or TTL pulse inputs, DTI Medium-Current PowerMod(TM) Solid-State switch modules measure only 12" x 12" x 3", are easy to install, and have a single controller that can drive one or two switches in a push-pull configuration, providing fast fall time for a capacitive load. Fully qualified for military applications, these modules offer over one million hours predicted reliability per MIL-HDBK-217F.
DTI Medium-Current PowerMod(TM) Solid-State switch modules with a fully integrated controller are priced from $10,000 to $50,000 for one to six modules, respectively. Literature and quotations are available on request.
