Panasonic Introduces i-Pro Management Software for Enterprise Multi-Recorder Multi-Site Systems
New Control Solution Enables Advanced Network Management.
Atlanta, GA (September 15, 2008) - Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company, is introducing a new management and control software solution for networked multi-camera/recorder and multi-site systems here at ASIS 2008. The i-Pro WV-ASX400 further expands Panasonic's array of video surveillance solutions by offering enterprise-level management capabilities on a networked platform.

The i-Pro WV-ASX400 Management Software offers enterprise-level video surveillance management and control capabilities on a networked platform. The software accommodates up to 1,024 cameras, 128 recorders and 64 decoders. Control for Panasonic cameras includes pan/tilt, zoom, focus, brightness, preset position call and program (up to 256), auto mode, click centering and wheel zoom. The software also permits users to display live tour sequence images in a multi-screen format, display live group sequence images on several monitors, and monitor and control cameras individually with Panasonic's WV-CU950 System Controller.
Other features of the Panasonic WV-ASX400 Management Software include: ON/OFF mode of the OSD and playback control on the selected monitor; sequence control for tour sequence, group preset and group sequence; alarm control by recorder, camera, and encoder; and sophisticated user management encompassing user authentication, host authentication (IP address), status monitoring of equipment by SNMP or Ping, and hardware.
