Eaton Corporation Introduces a Premium Monitoring Option for the Visor Series Surge Protective Device: The Cutler-Hammer NetVisor(TM)



PITTSBURGH, PA. Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation introduces an advanced monitoring option for its Clipper Power System - Visor(TM) Series surge protective device. The Cutler-Hammer NetVisor(TM) offers Ethernet and Modbus communication protocols and a built in web browser. It displays voltage levels and duration for sags, swells, and outages on a 2 x 16 LCD. In addition to remote monitoring, event triggering can be customized to suit the appropriate person or facility when a damaging surge, or other power quality event, occurs. With a time and date stamp log, up to 1000 power quality events can be captured and stored, giving the user a personalized history of the power system.

The NetVisor is one of three advanced monitoring options available for the Visor Series; an advanced surge protection device that reduces harmful voltage transients to protect sensitive electronic systems.
