ROMOLAND, CA - Sep 9, 2003 - The new miniature surface mount DR353 Inductor Series from Datatronic Distribution, Inc., features an economical open-frame design with a low seated profile from 0.079 inch (2.0 mm) above the circuit board and is available in a wide range of inductance values.
The DR353 Series surface mount inductors combine high-performance, economy and dependability for high frequency filter applications. They are ideal for a wide range of applications in portable devices, mobile phones, medical devices, appliances, automotive and more. With their small size and the wide range of inductance values available, they are ideal in high-density circuit board designs for lower cost commercial and consumer devices.
The DR353 Series features an inductance range from 0.10 to 560 uH, with a DCR from 0.25 to 28 Ohms maximum over a maximum current rating from 0.700 to 0.040 Amps. They are compatible with extreme temperature environments, ranging from -40 to +130°C and all materials meet UL 94V-0 requirements.
Rugged by design and miniature in size, the compact DR353 Series inductor comes in packages as small as 0.100 inches (2.5 mm) wide by 0.126 inches (3.2 mm) long and stands just 0.079 inches (2.0 mm) high. The DR353 Series is designed with a flat top surface, which makes it compatible with high-speed automated pick-and-place assembly and high-temperature soldering equipment as well.
