SurePayroll Offers Free HIRE Act Online Calculator
Small business owners can see the tax incentives they will gain if they hire qualifying HIRE Act employees.

For example, a small business planning to hire a qualifying employee with a $35,000 annual salary starting in May 2010 would save over $2800. Savings come from a combination of a tax credit worth up to $1,000 and a "tax holiday" where employers do not match qualifying employees' Social Security contributions.
A qualifying employee must meet several requirements, including:
o The new-hire employee cannot have worked more than 40 hours during the 60-day period ending on the day that the person begins the new job.
o The new-hire employee cannot serve as a replacement for a current employee "unless such other employee is separated from employment voluntarily or for cause."
o The new-hire employee must be hired after February 3, 2010 and before January 1, 2011.
