New Klein (R) Wire Stripper / Cutters Feature Klein-Kurve (TM) Handles

CHICAGO, IL - October 2001 - Klein Tools' new, lightweight wire
stripper/cutters (Model # 11055 and #11057) for stripping, cutting, looping and gauging solid and stranded wire feature specially designed Klein-Kurve(TM) handles for ease of use when reaching into confined areas.

Longer, double-dipped, Klein-Kurve handles provide users with a firm grip for better leverage. In addition, the cushioned handles offer greater control and comfort.

The Klein Model #11055 stripper/cutter is designed for 10 to 18 AWG solid and 12 to 20 AWG stranded wire; the Model #11057 is designed for 20 to 30 AWG solid and 22 to 32 AWG stranded wire. As an added feature, the wire stripper/cutters cleanly shear 6-32 and 8-32 screws.

The new Klein wire stripper/cutters feature easy-to-read wire gauge markings located on both sides of the tool, and precision, shear-type cutting blades. Designed with a narrow nose to fit into confined areas, the wire stripper/cutters are flat for easy carrying and storage. The tools' serrated nose jaws aid in
bending, shaping or pulling wire. The wire stripper/cutters also feature a handy closure lock and a spring-loaded, self-opening action for easier use.

The multiple functions of the tool eliminate the need for electricians and maintenance technicians to carry additional tools.

Manufactured of hardened steel for maximum strength, long life and durability, the wire stripper/cutters are finished with black oxide to provide corrosion resistance. The tools carry a lifetime warranty.
