New Pig Storage Unit Provides Side-By-Side Containment Without the Cost of Two Single Units
TIPTON, PA, May 18, 2004 New Pig Corporation has introduced the PIG® Twin IBC Roll-Top Hardcover Storage Unit to provide side-by-side protected storage of IBCs-indoors or out-without the cost of two single units.
The corrosion-resistant, weather-tight, roll-top design keeps IBCs up to 52" sq x 61" h clean and secure. Lockable doors and roll-top covers open from both sides allowing easy access to contents. In addition, the low 22" deck height provides convenient access to most valves and fittings, and two-way forklift entry allows for easy movement when the unit needs to be relocated.
Leaks and spills from the IBC are contained in the 535-gallon sump, and when used as a Best Management Practice in Stormwater Pollution Prevention plans, the PIG® IBC Roll-Top Hardcover Containment Units aid in complying with 40 CFR 122.26. The unit also aids in compliance of 40 CFR 264.175 for containment of hazardous waste.
