SEATTLE, March 13 -- Isilon(R) Systems, the leader in clustered storage, today announced the release of its fourth generation Isilon IQ clustered storage systems. With the release of its new OneFS(R) 4.0 distributed file system, Isilon is ushering in the storage industry's first TrueScale(TM) technology, providing enterprises with tailored, "pay as you grow," storage solutions fully optimized to meet businesses' unique performance and capacity needs while dramatically reducing costs. Additionally, Isilon IQ with OneFS 4.0 shatters existing enterprise capacity and performance limitations by achieving a record 528 Terabytes of capacity and 7 Gigabytes per second of performance in a single file system and single, truly symmetric cluster.
