Stack Rack minimizes the amount of floor space needed for high-volume storage by utilizing vertical space. These racks

"The addition of Stack Rack to Morgan Marshall Industries' product offerings not only allows us to offer a solution to another segment of the material handling and storage market, but
gives our customers a full spectrum of material handling and storage equipment systems," says Jim Marshall, MMI Director, Sales and Marketing. "Morgan Marshall is the only company in the
industry that manufactures products for each step of a customer's storage needs; from basic shelving to the most complex storage systems for ultimate inventory control."

MMI's complete spectrum of produci offerings combined with nearly 60 years of experience, has enabled the company to adapt and interface standard products to create a hybrid of new systems. With 926,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution space in eight facilities at its Chicago Heights headquarters, MMI can design a customized storage system integrating a variety of rack and shelving systems all from one supplier-in one delivery and installation. This unique application design ability gives customers greater storage efficiency at a lower cost.

Major companies of every type around the country are utilizing MMI products and systems in industrial, retail, institutional, commercial, manufacturing, service, government, distribution centers and warehousing industries. Customers include The Gap, Lowes, Cingular, Wal-Mart, Nordstrom's, Library of Congress, and Princeton University among others.

Outfitted with the most advanced equipment available today, MMI's Chicago Heights facility allows for in-house automated design and engineering with roll formers, punch presses and robotic welding machines. MMI's tool and die department also builds all of its own tooling. Custom tooling combined with state-of-the-art automation enables MMI to not only be extremely flexible, but to take products to market in record time. Another way MMI helps customers save time is by providing them, if appropriate, an on-site shipping building.

The facility also has two powder-coat high capacity paint lines. These paint lines are capable of handling unusually large loads of finished product, and unlimited paint colors and assortment finishes allow for products to be finished with virtually any color available.

As part of the company's commitment to continuously develop new products to meet the needs of their customers, MMI established a custom wood fixtures division in 2001. MMI's wood fixtures utilize high-pressure lamination and thermal forming-a seamless surface layering that maintains a luxurious look while remaining cost effective.

MMI took their commitment to the customer one step further this year by opening a new 344,000 plus square foot manufacturing facility in San Bernardino, California. The new facility has dramatically reduced western region customer lead times and shipping costs. Currently, the facility produces distribution center pallet rack and structural cantilever as well as stack rack, gondola shelving and display fixtures. All products meet current seismic specifications.
