New, Smaller Size Despatch SD Oven Saves On Valuable Floor Space
MINNEAPOLIS - February 12, 2002 - The Despatch SD Sterilization and Depyrogenation Oven is now available in a smaller size, minimizing floor space requirements and allowing it to fit comfortably into even the smallest clean room or other sterile environment.
With an overall width of only 50 inches and a height of 96 inches, the oven still offers 30 cubic feet of chamber capacity, allowing users to keep throughput and production rates high. In
addition, the side panels distribute heat evenly, resulting in dense loading capabilities and a high capacity per square foot of floor space. Even more valuable floor space is gained alongside each oven because all controls and maintenance panels are front-accessible.
The SD oven is available in three configurations to suit a wide range of temperature and cycle time requirements: 1) the ultra performance oven has cycle times as short as 1 1/2 hours; 2) the
high performance oven has cycle times as short as 2 1/2 hours; and 3) the standard performance oven has cycle times of 6 hours. These short cycle times result in more production per shift,
more efficient operations and lower operating costs.
A proprietary recirculation filter system prevents mechanical stress on the HEPA filter, and an advanced control system minimizes filter supply temperature fluctuations. With the combination of these proven systems, the oven meets Class 100 conditions throughout each cycle.
In addition, comprehensive Documentation for Qualification & Validation (DQV), plus Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ) and Software Qualification (SQ)
protocols minimize the time and effort required for FDA approval.
An optional touch-screen operator interface panel with an Allen-Bradley PLC control system is user friendly, with the features needed to operate, control, monitor, alarm, maintain, and adjust
