WEATHER GUARD® Steel Underbed Boxes Have Improved Product Features and Two New Models
CRYSTAL LAKE, ILL. - September 2005 - Several product features have been improved in Knaack Manufacturing's WEATHER GUARD® Steel Underbed Box product line for pickup trucks. Two new stainless steel door models also have been added.
The improved product features include: a stainless steel D-handle, a three-point latching system, a new door design, a redesigned body frame and removable chain stays.
The addition of a large open stainless steel D-handle allows users to easily open the box by having more space to grip.
The steel underbed box now has a door design which utilizes removable chain stays to create better support at various openings. It also allows the door to drop down 180-degrees, giving users efficient access to the body of the box.
With a new picture frame body design, the 14-gauge steel body frame has an extra large opening that allows for maximum utilization of storage space.
A three-point latching system creates a positive closure on three sides of the door making it secure and water resistant.
The two new stainless steel door models added to the line are constructed of brushed 16-gauge stainless steel and have a black picture frame body design made from 14-gauge steel. The two models come in 36" x 18" x 18" and 48" x 18" x 18" sizes.
In addition to these new product features, users also benefit from the manufacturer's limited warranty upgraded from two to three years.
