Nederman, Inc. Introduces New Compact and Efficient High Vacuum Units

Westland, MI May 24, 2004 -- Nederman, Inc. is launching two new stationary high vacuum units, L-PAK 150 and L-PAK 250. Designed to compliment several of the company's larger E-PAK units, the L-PAK is smaller, includes more features and is available for a competitive price. L-PAK 150 & 250 are designed for the extraction of welding fumes, metal chips and sanding dust from workstations and machines. Target markets include metal fabrication, auto body shops, composite fabrication and laundries to name a few. The compact design, light-weight and quiet running (63 dB (a) with sound insulation hood) make this an easy to install unit in any facility.

Despite the competitive price, the units feature several innovations, including integrated PLC control panel, LED to indicate service, and filter upgrades with anti-static or cartridge filters. Additionally, the unit has a HEPA filter option to remove up to 99.997 % of all particles in the air down to 0.3 micron in size.

Both L-PAK units include highly efficient standard filter systems, providing a combination of effective cleaning and long life. The heavier particles are separated and collected directly in a dust bin, while finer particles are trapped by a polypropylene filter. The polypropylene filter is equipped with a unique surface coating that prevents the particles from penetrating the media. Consequently the filter is very easy to keep clean and has an expected life of 5000 hours.

Features from the E-PAK series, such as automatic filter cleaning, thermal overload protection and motor protection have been incorporated into the new models. The automatic stop/start feature activates or shuts down the new L-PAK via an on/off function of a pneumatic tool, welding gun or microswitch.
