Pass & Seymour/Legrand® Announces New Square Box
SYRACUSE, NY (Oct. 17, 2005) - Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S), a leading manufacturer of electrical wiring devices and home systems, today announced the availability of a new Shallow 4-Inch Square Box. The Box dimensions of 4.25"x4.25"x1.25" make it perfect for masonry-furring strip style walls and any place with limited space. The Box is classified for 2-hour wall fire resistance.
Two factory-installed #8 screws allow for easy mud ring installation, and four Auto/Clamps® eliminate the need for separate cable clamps. The Square Box features a Height Site alignment guide to center the device on a reference mark. With 18 cubic inches in volume, the Box accepts 9 #14, 8 #12 or 7 #10 wires.
