Binks Announces New and Improved AA1500 and 4000 Spray Guns
New Air Cap Reduces Coating Buildup, Improves Fan Pattern Adjustment for Specialized Aircraft Work
January, 2006, Glendale Heights - Binks announces two newly-designed spray guns-Models AA1500 and 4000-which incorporate new air caps to offer:
o Enhanced coating atomization
o Reduced build-up of acid catalyzed coatings
o Improved fan pattern adjustment for hard-to-reach wing areas and smaller aircraft components
"The AA1500 and 4000 spray guns have enjoyed wide customer acceptance, due to their performance and durability. Now our aircraft customers have asked us for ways to improve coverage when spraying primers and urethane top coats. We designed the new AA-10 Air Caps to meet this specific need," said Chuck Scott, Marketing Manager.
The new AA-10 Air Caps improves performance with a newly-designed side port control. The new design offers better balance between atomizing air and fan air, which improves atomization quality.
In addition, the enhanced atomization allows application of aircraft quality coatings at high application speeds.
The new AA-10 Air Caps on the AA1500 and 4000 build on the spray guns' ergonomic and simplistic design. This design has been credited with reducing operator fatigue thereby increasing production rates. The simplistic design allows for parts changeouts in less than five minutes, quick and easy repairs, and low replacement costs on wear tips.
