New AXU High Performance BLDC Speed Control System
Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA Corp. introduces the AXU Series of high performance brushless DC speed control systems- These compact packages, comprised of a BLDC motor and a speed control unit, provide energy efficient speed control in 10W, 25W, 40W and 90W output power levels. Available in single-phase 100-115VAC, single-phase 200-230VAC and three-phase 200-230VAC power inputs, an external DC power supply is not required. The AXU Series can maintain a constant torque value over the entire speed range of 100 rpm to 2000 rpm.
The AXU Series provides superior speed regulation of ±1% maximum with voltage, ±1% maximum with temperature, and -2% maximum with load. The small BLDC motor is less than one half the size of an equivalent powered AC induction motor. The control unit features rotation direction, run/stop, dynamic braking, set speed (100 to 2000 rpm), and acceleration/deceleration functions. Protection features on the control unit include overload, over voltage, under voltage, over speed, and out-of-phase protection
Geared models are available in 20 gear ratios ranging from 3:1 to 180:1 to provide high torque and lower speed performance. The AXU Series provides easy wiring and operation. Just connect the motor connector to the control unit and the AXU is ready for immediate use. The rate of rotation is easily adjustable using the dial on the front of the speed control unit.
