Hand-Held Spectroradiometer Characterizes UV Light Sources Fast

A new, NIST traceable, portable spectroradiometer for the characterization of UV light sources including those used in UV curing, solar simulation, photo-stability testing, museum lighting, and related applications is being introduced by International Light, Inc. of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The IL RPS-200 UV Spectroradiometer is a hand-held CCD-based, multi-channel instrument that can provide rapid evaluation of UV sources and emissions within 1 to 30 seconds; typical. Featuring an efficient cosine receptor for irradiance measurements and a 24 degree viewing angle for radiance measurements, this portable spectroradiometer covers a range from 200 to 500nm with 5nm resolution.

Providing true laptop portability, without requiring an external power source, the IL RPS-200 UV Spectroradiometer is powered from a standard USB digital interface. Complete Windows® compatible software offers integrated measurements for UVA, UVB, and UVC which are all NIST traceable.

The IL RPS-200 UV Spectroradiometer sells for $8,495.00 complete. Literature is available upon request.
