Ridgid® New Spade Handle Drill Handles the High Torque Jobs

Powerful motor and gears make this one tough mud mixer

(Elyria, Ohio) The new RIDGID® Heavy Duty Spade Handle Drill (Model R7120) offers years of reliable service for all of the heavy torque applications found on the jobsite.

The R7120 features a powerful 7.5 Amp motor (0-500 rpm) with hardened steel gears and triple gear reduction, and a 5/8" spindle to produce, and handle, the torque for large-bore drilling and mud mixing.

"The new RIDGID spade handle drill is one of those must-have jobsite tools," said Jeff Drake, spokesperson for RIDGID. "It is engineered to handle the toughest drilling and mixing duties, and is sure to become the contractor's best friend."

The drill has externally accessible brushes for extended motor life, a 1/2" keyed chuck, lock on button for continuous drilling or mixing, and a forward/reverse rocker switch to help back out jammed bits.

The R7120 comes with a three-position auxiliary handle for added versatility and a two-position rear spade handle, providing user control tailored to the project.

The R7120 drill includes RIDGID's exclusive cord package. This package features a 12-foot all rubber power cord, providing extra reach without an extension cord. The rubber cord is more durable than a plastic cord and stays flexible in cold weather. The cord also has a lighted plug, which confirms when the tool is "live," featuring a backlit icon of the tool for easy identification. This feature also reduces confusion on busy jobsites, where many tool cords are often plugged into one central power strip. Finally, a Velcro(TM) cord wrap organizes the cord neatly for storage, eliminating knots and tangles.

The drill comes with a removable auxiliary side handle, spade handle chuck key and strap, and case.
