SouthWood Signs Guide Visitors through Growth of Shalom Park

CHARLOTTE- As organizations grow and add facilities, signage becomes critical to effective operations. SouthWood Corporation ( has been working with the Foundation of Shalom Park over the years to provide appropriate signage for the tremendous growth on their 54-acre campus. The commercial signage solutions manufacturer has recently completed yet another phase of signage for Shalom Park.

Facilities on the campus of Shalom Park have grown from approximately 85,000 square feet in 2001 to about 225,000 square feet today. There are two synagogues and their religious schools; a day school, pre-school and high school; community center; library and resource center; athletics facilities and meeting space; as well as additional Jewish agencies. And the Foundation of Shalom Park has just completed an eight-year fundraising campaign that will support the creation of nearly triple that square footage in the years ahead.

"Signage consistent with our identity and values is important to us," says Butch Rosen, Executive Director of the Foundation of Shalom Park. "SouthWood has vast experience in this type of environment and has worked closely with us to provide signage that meets our needs."

SouthWood specializes in the creation and implementation of image-conscious signage and graphics for clients nationwide.

"Campus signage for all levels of facilities must facilitate the flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, both inside buildings and on the grounds," says Ernest Dwight, president of SouthWood. "We are pleased to be working with the Foundation of Shalom Park to implement a campus-wide signage system."
