Sonifier Cell Disruptor
Fullerton, CA – The SFX250 Sonifier® Cell Disruptor, designed by Branson to prep samples at volumes ranging from 0.2 mL to 500 mL is available on Laboratory-Equipment's web site. Users can control sample processing time, temperature, and energy. A digital controller allows intuitive push-button programming and recall of up to 20 sample-prep methods.
The 250-watt SFX250 Sonifier is available with a standard converter for stack operation of long-duration samples, or a handheld converter for fast processing of single samples. The 20 kHz ultrasonic operation is quiet, and the digital display shows the application parameters so workers can track progress. Samples can be processed using continuous or pulse ultrasonics.
Heat-sensitive samples are protected with user-specified temperature ranges using an optional probe. Included with the sonicator is a power supply, converter and 1/2-inch disruptor horn. Other tips and accessories are available. The handheld converter has an ergonomic handle that is comfortable to hold, with a recessed power button to prevent accidental activation.
