LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA...E. Mike Bruhwiler, president of Micro 100, today announced the introduction of an extensive series of metric HSC (high speed cutting) solid carbide end mills. MICRO 100 products are top performers in the marketplace.
These highest precision finishing 2-flute end mills are suitable for HSC applications and engineered for shrink-fit tool holding. A positive rake angle supports maximum cutting performance in soft, medium and hard materials for conventional side milling and slotting.
Cutter diameters are available from 0.2 mm to 6.0 mm with shank diameters of 6 mm. The shank diameters are held within -0.0025 to -0.005 mm. The cutter diameter tolerance is +0.000 -0.014 mm on sizes up to 3.0 mm and +0.000 -0.018 mm on larger sizes.
Overall lengths are 57 mm. All end mills are also available for immediate delivery with AlTiN coating.
